Hawaiian Chicken soy entree contains soy protein. It's delicious. It's Kosher!

Note: This information is only for the Hawaiian Nuggets. It includes the instructions on the package, plus my own suggestions, in italics.

Ingredients:

  • Vegetarian Chicken Chunks (included)
  • Seasoning Mix (included)
  • Broth or water
    Cook the chunks in either broth or in water with a little soy or Tamari sauce to give it some additional flavor.
  • 1/4 Cup Vinegar
    The directions do not specify which type of vinegar. I like to use a combination of red wine vinegar and lemon juice.
  • 1/3 Cup Ketchup
    You can use any combination of the following: sweet and sour sauce, tomato sauce, ketchup.
  • 10-12 oz can Pineapple Chunks
    I use a 20 oz can, and it works fine.

Directions: Simmer 1 bag of Vegetarian Chicken Chunks in broth or water for 20 minutes. Mix 1 seasoning pack with Vinegar, Ketchup and pineapple chunks. Drain chicken chunks and add to seasoning mix. Simmer for 20-30 minutes - serve hot.
It goes really well with brown rice.
